I am the guardian,
it is my charge to protect her,
but I have no power over fate, and so can do nothing
but observe.

I am the guardian, the keeper of all she was. I am the
remberer, remembering her dreams, wants, what she did.
I WILL remember who she was.

But I will try not to grieve her death, for grieving
would be selfish.

... and in the end, when life becomes too much a burden
I will take it from her, even though it weighs heavy on
my heart.

For this is my charge.
For I am the guardian.
